Unpack

Paper Jam

  • Insert the newly bought toner cartridge into the drum unit until it snaps in its place; make sure to place the toner cartridge correctly, or else it may separate from the drum unit.
  • Inside the drum unit, clean the corona wire by sliding the green tab and insert the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly into your printer.

Printer Offline

    If you can't find your printer online, check the following:
  • On your computer, click Start and go to Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your printer and choose See what's printing. Then, click on Printer in the menu bar and check whether Use printer offline is selected. If so, deselect the option and then check whether you can print now.
  • Also, make sure to keep your Brother printer as a default printer. Go to the Devices and Printers section, right-click on your Brother printer, and select the Set as the default printer option.
